Position Summary

The Director – Customer Engagement is responsible for developing and managing portfolio products and their associated marketing strategies and campaigns. This team member will help drive revenue through sales of ancillary and credit products, increased product utilization, and improved retention across platforms including email, online, phone, social and mobile app.



 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

 

 

  • Directs and manages an array of portfolio marketing projects from their initial concept phase to rollout. Develops business justification requirements and financial impact summaries for each campaign.
  • Assesses digital customer experience and identifies, develops and helps deploy enhancements to that experience.
  • Coordinates closely with Risk Management, Direct Mail and Marketing Analytics teams to develop and execute projects based on the mutually agreed upon implementation timelines.
  • Evaluates and reports on industry trends, benchmarks and offers.
  • Identifies new ancillary product opportunities that will drive incremental revenue.
  • Presents to management weekly results, updates and strategies.
  • Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements



Position Requirements

 

  • Extensive email, direct mail and digital marketing experience, including experience with SaaS marketing platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new products and strategies that drive revenue.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Superior verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Digital product development experience preferred.
  • Adobe (Analytics, Target) or Google Analytics experience preferred.
  • Credit card marketing and/or financial services experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience is required.
  • MBA preferred.
