Position Summary

The Email Marketing Manager supports the VP Digital Marketing in the execution of the email remarketing, refer-a-friend and decline monetization programs. Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving existing Credit One Bank card members to refer their friends and family to open accounts and supporting email production and execution, including HTML/CSS troubleshooting and coding, QA review, and deployment of tactical email campaigns that generate new customer acquisition. As a successful Email Marketing Manager, you will utilize your business and technical skills to enable new capabilities to drive customer acquisition, retention and loyalty. This position reports to the VP, Digital Marketing.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Set the strategy for referrals, including targeting, customer touchpoints, and metrics
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in our referral and email remarketing programs and areas of opportunity.
  • Performs day-to-day campaign management activities including, but not limited to, campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, and deployment
  • Accountable for key performance indicators of the reach and impact of our referral and email remarketing efforts
  • Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Customer Service and Product Development teams to develop and execute content, placement & promotional calendar to achieve new account goals
  • Champion and educate the broader organization on the benefits and activities of the referral and email remarketing programs.
  • Stay up to date with latest email and referrer programs best practices
  • Maintains high development and production standards, as well as have the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

 

Job Requirements



Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 3+ years of Email Marketing
  • Customer Success or Account Management experience preferred
  • Experience developing and running data driven marketing campaigns (i.e. email marketing, content development, landing page and conversion optimization, SEO, etc.) preferred. Referral marketing a huge plus
  • Must have fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive email design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner
  • Makes insightful decisions based on data and/or analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work multiple projects concurrently with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
