Position Summary

Marketing Operations

The main responsibility for this Senior Project Manager is to manage the Customer Acquisition Marketing Campaigns. This person will work closely with our Tier 1 Suppliers and internal stakeholders to execute these customer acquisition campaigns as scheduled.  

Senior Project Manager (will consider more Sr. candidates that can get up to speed quickly and have strong communications skills, attention detail and ability to multi-task).   

Organize, facilitate and execute marketing projects and initiatives accurately and on time. Maintain a holistic view of all campaigns, projects and initiatives, sharing out status updates weekly to the core team. Serve as the liaison between the internal marketing teams and external teams.

 

 

Job Requirements

Summary Essential Job Functions

  • Manage project/campaign lifecycle from concept through planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Collect, review and approve new project information, such as new creative templates and current control campaign creative, to be entered into the marketing production tool, Avenue. Ensure information is accurate, thorough and supporting documentation is attached.
  • Develop, proactively monitor and manage schedules in the PM tool, socializing out to core team about milestones and/or delays that will affect timing and completion.
  • Ensure projects, deliverables and processes are managed within the project management tool.
  • Schedule internal core team meetings (kickoff, regroup, status, etc.) following effective meeting practices; takes notes to share with internal core team as needed.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve areas of concern that may impact projects/initiatives timelines.
  • Manage, execute, and communicate project plans, changes on direction, approvals and priorities based on business requirements, new information and/or budget considerations to core team and key stakeholders.
  • Route internal and external feedback to the Marketing Operations team.
  • Obtain and review internal feedback, confirm accuracy and confirm edits are made. Ensure accuracy and cohesiveness on external feedback. Route to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and archive project documentation and approvals from internal key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all materials are reviewed and approved by Compliance and Risk Teams; store written approvals as dictate by corporate document retention protocol and procedures into the appropriate job folder.
  • Manage timelines to ensure approved creative is delivered to production, procurement, Business Unit or other teams for on time deployment of campaign or marketing materials.
  • Receive art from the creative team and ensure the final product meets expectations and requirements. Release to appropriate team.
  • Work with third-party vendors when needed; ensure all vendors follow brand guidelines and direction.
  • Maintain product knowledge and relationships with marketing cross-discipline teams.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • 5 plus years of project management experience required.
  • Must have the ability to get up to speed quickly and work autonomously.
  • Experience using project management software.
  • Effective planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Experience handling multiple tasks, a high volume of work and prioritizing duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Polished and professional attitude and communication style.
  • Demonstrated skill in exercising initiative, good judgment, and making sound and timely decisions.
  • Experience working with all levels of employees, management, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of process related to marketing, operations or project management.
  • Effective organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience leveraging technical tools/programs to improve project management efficiency and promote business process improvement
  • Willing to learn and contribute to the team.
