Position Summary

 

Credit One Bank is a leading issuer of VISA branded sub-prime credit cards with over 8 million active customers.  With ever changing portfolio risk and profitability dynamics, and the drive to expand the business substantially beyond current levels, the Bank seeks to fill a position on is Portfolio Risk Management team. 

 

The Portfolio Risk Management team is responsible for various risk activities that impact existing customers.  These include account management functions such as Credit Line Increase, Collections and Customer service strategies. The team is also responsible for the managing the Bank’s Multiple Accounts Program. A qualified candidate would be capable of supporting any of the programs within the Portfolio Risk Management team. Portfolio Risk Management is currently seeking an individual to support Collections Strategies. This individual will support segmentation, dialer, volume allocation and general Collections efforts across the entire internal and agency network.

 

 



Summary Essential Job Functions

 

  • Extract data and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial analyses.
  • Design and Execution of Champion/Challenger Testing.
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc analysis using SAS or SQL.
  • Track, Review and Present test results in most professional method.
  • Support Collections Operations team by providing analytic support and articulating the impacts of operations activities on overall performance.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in various aspects of Collections: Dialer strategy, work out programs, recoveries, segmentation, etc.
  • Partners with technology groups to define business requirements performs user acceptance testing and implements complex changes.
  • Meet deadlines and keep a higher commitment with the tasks assign to the analyst. Accomplish daily, weekly and monthly activities as the schedule required.
  • Ability to create Dashboards in Tableau for Daily, weekly or Monthly Reporting.
  • Performs other BAU duties as assigned. The analyst needs to meet multiple deadlines according to the tasks assigned to the analyst.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in related field, eg. Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics. A graduate degree is required.
  • A master’s graduate in Business Analytics/ Information Systems is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the finance, accounting, business, and programming knowledge is required. Credit Card industry experience is a plus. Recent college graduate from a Master with a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of experimental design, Champion/Challenger testing, and segmentation techniques will be ideal.
  • Advanced software competencies using SAS Enterprise Guide and Miner and SQL and Excel.
  • Effective data mining skills and the ability to explain changing data dynamics.
