As an AEM Developer at Credit One Bank, you will bring your experience into focus as a full-stack developer with strong UI/UX skills, engineering highly interactive web-based applications and user interfaces in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other frameworks. You’ll work with a team of talented web developers and software engineers architecting, designing, and implementing high performant applications for our existing and prospective card members, and internal users as well.

Job Requirements

Job Summary:

  • Deliver streamlined code for experiences which serve over 9 million credit card members.

  • Participate in continual development and on-going site design, functional optimization, and implementations.

  • Design efficient AEM Content Models, Workflows, and Components.

  • Maintain and develop new AEM Templates.

  • Interface with external vendors (e.g. web development and digital advertising agencies), intra-departmental, business project managers, IT project managers and developers, QA, and UAT staff. These duties will include working with external / internal designers and technologists to ensure that the user interfaces reflect the design, technology requirements, and functionality as set forth by the business.

  • Adhere to coding standards and Adobe best practices for efficiency, readability, and reuse.

  • Participate in peer code review sessions, methodically examining code for defects and improvement opportunities, while accepting constructive criticism.

  • Meticulously document site revisions and code updates.



  • Bachelor’s Degree / Certification in Marketing, Web, AEM, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java-based responsive web development and AEM 6 (experience with 6.3 preferred).

  • Expert working knowledge of modern web development tools: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including jQuery and Node.js), JSON, and AJAX.

  • Expertise with the Adobe DAM, AEM Responsive Grid, Java Content Repository (JCR), CRXDE Lite, Apache Felix OSGi, Apache Sling, Sightly/HTL, Java/J2EE, Maven, and REST.

  • Experience with development IDEs such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, and/or IntelliJ.

  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products.

  • Experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics is a plus.

  • Experience with Spring, Struts, PHP, Vue, and Laravel a plus.

  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, SQL, SQL2, and Oracle.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with ZURB Foundation or other responsive front-end frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap).

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.

  • Experience in integrating web APIs.

  • Knowledge of SCSS compilers and modern web workflow tools.

  • Experience with distributed version control systems (e.g. AccuRev, Bitbucket, etc).

  • Experience working within the Agile method of project management.

  • Experience with other Enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus.
