Job Summary

This position is responsible for helping to plan and execute credit card mail campaigns aimed at obtaining new customers and seeking opportunities to improve the results of those efforts. This individual will help plan mail campaigns, look for opportunities to improve targeting of potential customers, propose and evaluate testing of offers, and seek ways to help more of those prospective customers become approved for their card.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Seek ways to improve performance of our direct mail marketing campaigns by:

  • Planning new mail campaigns and developing forecasts of campaigns that have been executed.
  • Improving targeting of new customers by evaluating new data sources and prior campaign data.
  • Proposing and executing tests of new offers designed to improve response and profitability of new customers.
  • Monitoring tests and using those results to propose additional tests and deployment of winning strategies.
  • Understanding why potential customers are not able to be approved for their applications and recommending selection and communications strategies to reduce the number of applications that are not able to be approved.
  • Evaluating competitive efforts using industry tools and identifying potential test ideas for our campaigns.
  • Execute projects and manage the process from concept, to roll-out, to performance analysis.

Position Requirements

  • 4 or more years of Business or Marketing or Project Management experience.
  • 2 or more years of credit card marketing and/or financial services experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Strong communication and follow up skills necessary.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
