Job Description

Position Summary

Review all outgoing letters for accuracy, grammar and format. Provide support in quality reviews and development of new letters.

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Create new and maintain existing standard response letters and guide them through ongoing review via the Bank’s Customer communication approval processes. 
  • Validate that every outgoing communication to existing customers meets the Bank’s standards. 
  • Maintain library and audit train documenting all approved customer letters, emails and chats with copies of signed approval forms. 
  • Proofreading of outgoing customer letters- review and approve all free form letters. 
  • Assist Manager in a semiannual audit on all customer letters for relevance and necessity. 
  • Work with other Departments on tracking and testing all new letters deployed through the business request process. 
  • Monitors all work products with regard to progress, accuracy, quality, and timeliness. 
  • Provides improvement input with regard to assorted Customer Service Department areas such as: systems, policies, processes, procedures, etc. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

  • 2 year college/degree in English or Journalism preferred.
  • Copyediting background preferred
  • Redlining, black lining, EDGAR and citations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and successfully work with other processes
  • Must have above average PC skills and the ability to utilize software such as Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel, knowledge of HTML, internet research, etc.
