Job Description

This position requires a strong understanding of financial and statistical analysis, budgeting, forecasting and project management.

 



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Project management – development of requirements, coordinate implementation, scripting, and testing.
  • Process Improvement & Process diagnostics– Evaluate processes for improvement or errors, make recommendations and implement changes.
  • Analysis - Construct and present financial models and analysis of raw data. Evaluate projects and proposals for feasibility, comprehensive financial impact, and return on investment/
  • Forensic / processing failure resolution/ restitution with validation
  • Produce statistical and actual to actual variance analysis and activity based costing systems.
  • Involved in preparation of annual budget and monthly projections.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis for assigned departments.
  • Challenge operational management with efficiencies and peer comparisons.
  • Construct and evaluate operational measurements and standards.
  • Prepare, maintain and discuss a variety of analysis.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. Advanced degree or accreditation preferred. Minimum two years analytical experience including financial modeling and forecasting. Must be proficient in data mining and data modeling procedures. General understanding of accounting principles or accounting experience preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills. Accuracy and detail oriented.   Be able to construct detailed financial models and presentations from conception. Self-starter, who can work independently with a high degree of organization on several projects at one time. Credit Card industry experience preferred. Advanced Excel Proficiency including experience with graphs required. Experience with Power Point required. SQL and SAS experience preferred. Access and Great Plains a plus.
