Job Description

Position Summary

The position is responsible to acquire, document, analyze, and measure the overall effectiveness for bank operations in accordance with established policies & procedures. Internal audit reports are prepared to document the effectiveness against regulatory compliance or bank policies and procedures.

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

    Gather and analyze data as necessary to accomplish audit objectives in a timely manner.

    Conducts comprehensive Compliance and Operational Business Audits in accordance with regulatory guidelines and policies.

    Performs audit tests, applying professional judgment, considering control objectives and risks.

    Must be able to understand and conclude testing results performed as it relates to Department Policies and Procedures and or Compliance regulations.

    Prepares and organizes work papers that fully document testing performed, discussions, conclusions and findings.

    Performs audit follow-up as required, performing testing validation to ensure effectiveness of corrective actions have been taken in response to audit.

    Prepares and presents written audit report to senior management that defines scope and objectives while supporting findings and conclusions.

    Supports SVP/AVP and external auditors by coordinating information requests

    Demonstrates a professional rapport with organizational business contacts.

    Exhibit a strong understanding of Technology Operations, Systems and Processes, Change Management, Security Operations, Databases, Telecommunications,

Technology Infrastructure, Business Continuity and Applications Controls.

    Conducts comprehensive Compliance, Operational Business and Technology Audits in accordance with regulatory guidelines and policies.

    Performs IT Compliance Reviews

      Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

 Minimum of  4-year degree in Business Administration and 2 years of Audit experience. 4+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience or IT auditing is critical. Must have Compliance background knowledge with Federal Regulations, preferably in the Credit Card compliance field. (Dodd Frank Act, BSA, ECOA, FCRA, GLBA, OFAC, UDAAP)

    Experience working with OCC and within FFIEC Guidelines

    Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of interacting with all levels of management.

    Ability to manage priorities and work independently.

    Must be problem solver with excellent analytical skills.

    Must be self-starter having ability to make sound business decisions.

    Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word.

    Works independently with minimal direction.

    Meet audit schedule deadlines in a timely manner.

    Develop and foster working relationships.

    Must be familiar with basic auditing principals.

    Knowledge of Credit Card operations is a plus.
