Job Summary

This position is responsible for helping to plan and execute credit card mail campaigns aimed at obtaining new customers and seeking opportunities to improve the results of those efforts. This individual will look for opportunities to improve how potential customers find out about those offers, make it easier for them to accept their offer, and seek ways to help more of those prospective customers become approved for their card.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Seek ways to improve performance of our direct mail marketing campaigns by:
  • Grow efficiencies and overall effectiveness through innovation in direct mail strategy, targeting, delivery, creative development and process.
  • Understand all customer interaction channels and processes of the bank for e.g phone (IVR), digital (web) and mail.
  • Evaluate program performance to drive future strategies, optimize existing channel performance and identify opportunities to improve response rates.
  • Monitoring tests and using those results to propose additional tests and deployment of winning strategies
  • Understanding why potential customers are not able to be approved for their applications and recommending selection and communications strategies to reduce the number of applications that are not able to be approved
  • Evaluating competitive efforts using industry tools and identifying potential test ideas for our campaigns
  • Manage Key audit steps to ensure flawless execution and customer communication.
  • Execute projects and manage the process from concept, to roll-out, to performance analysis

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 2 or more years of Business or Marketing or Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Direct mail, credit card marketing and/or financial services experience a plus



  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Strong communication and follow up skills necessary
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
