Position Summary

Credit One Bank is looking for a Marketing Manager to support the overall growth of the organization as a member of the direct mail acquisition team. This position will be primarily responsible for managing marketing campaigns that acquire new customers, optimize marketing channels, and increase the value of customers to the Bank.

This role will specifically focus on developing strategic ideas to increase our customer base via direct mail prospecting, primarily by uncovering actionable insights through market research, testing, and analytics. This individual will develop offer strategy, optimize targeting, and find ways to increase our marketable universe in close partnership across marketing, analytics, risk, and IT.

The candidate should be an excellent project manager skilled at multi-tasking, as well as tracking, organizing, and distilling information across a wide variety of dispersed data sources. This job requires someone who is process-oriented, has the flexibility to quickly adapt to change, solve problems, and the ability to plan ahead for downstream impacts. Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills are required, including strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.

  • Connect the dots and find nuggets of actionable insights across structured and dispersed data sources
  • Identify opportunities for acquisition growth and stay on top of competitor trends and insights
  • Develop offer strategy, optimize targeting, and grow marketable universe and develop/execute upon testing roadmap to support hypotheses
  • Creative problem solving with the ability to adapt quickly to change and manage changing priorities and expectations
  • Ensures the timely coordination and completion of projects
  • May perform other duties, as needed, to meet the needs of the business

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of Marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Direct mail, credit card marketing and/or financial services experience a plus
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills necessary
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Excellent Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
