Position Summary

Credit One Bank is looking for a Marketing Manager to support the overall growth of the organization as a member of the direct mail team. This position will be primarily responsible for managing marketing campaigns that acquire new customers, optimize marketing channels, and increase the value of customers to the Bank.


This role will specifically focus on traffic of all direct mail creative jobs to ensure deadlines are met, all content and creative is accurate, approvals are received, and any production concerns are addressed. Tasks include facilitating communication about creative changes/requirements, daily monitoring of job status, preparing job status logs for the team, and conducting meetings. The candidate should be an excellent project manager skilled at multi-tasking, as well as tracking and organizing information for different types of projects. This job requires someone who is process oriented, understand business rules logic and has the flexibility to quickly adapt to change, solve problems, and the ability to plan ahead for downstream impacts. Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills are required, including excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.

Job Requirements

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Liaison among Direct Mail, MarCom, and Print Production to ensure quality of creative, and technical accuracy during the creation of a direct mail campaign.
  • Responsible for managing kit creation process from kick-off to completion for each campaign.
  • Proofread and quality check work for accuracy, brand standards, and Compliance regulations.
  • Follow SOPs and checklists for checking/validating creative development.
  • Manage status log of kits in development in order to keep projects on track and know stage of development for each kit.
  • Work closely and effectively with MarCom leadership to assign projects to designers.
  • Annotate PDFs for submission to designers/Avenue to communicate changes and creative requirements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records to track version control during creative development.
  • Track campaign development according to established schedules for creative development, review, and approval.
  • Point person for getting feedback on creative changes and Compliance updates, ensuring communication across departments, notifying management and then implementing based on agreement.
  • Manage routing of creative projects to ensure all approvals have been obtained before an item is produced.
  • Identify and assist with process improvements and enhancements
  • May perform other duties, as needed, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Responsible for the quality and accuracy of marketing materials
  • Ensure the timely coordination and completion of projects

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of Marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Direct mail, credit card marketing and/or financial services experience a plus.
  • Project management/campaign management experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication and follow up skills necessary.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and result
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro
