Job Description

Perform exception research and processing of transactions or payments timely and accurate to credit card account holders. Uses established criteria to make decisions on how to process transactions.  Must be able to perform tracking, reporting, and prepare presentations on key performance indicators.

 

Duties and Responsibilities          

●Research, resolute and track the daily Online Research Request (ORR) 

●Approve, validate and distribution of credit balance refunds (CBR)

●Handle Return Items (paper and ACH, etc.)  

●Process customer adjustments related to but not limited to payments and fee adjustments

●Prepare payment for deposit   

●Data entry, daily reconciliation of transactions and quality validation  

●Assist with monthly Quality monitoring   and reporting

●Design, and develop data worksheets in a manner that are highly usable

●Track and manage all internal reportings  

●Maintain up-to-date procedural manuals and prepare new procedures for change and new processes

●Make recommendations to the department supervisor on any matter affecting productivity, effciency, service or problem resolution

●Exercise reasonable judgment in performing duties while maintaining processing and quality standards

●Update existing presentations to align with data/ volume reporting

●Turn data and abstract concepts into compelling presentations

●Assist with special projects    

●Perform other related duties as assigned.  

Job Requirements

Qualifications                           

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational achievement is required. 
  • 1-2 years of proven leadership skills working closely with associates
  • Minimum of 3 years of payment exceptions and check processing within the last 5 years
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • 10 key by touch and ability to type 40-50 wpm
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi task on changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in identifying and reporting data for process improvement
  • Analytical skills, PC skills with the ability to think critically, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills
