Position Summary

 

The position is responsible to acquire, document, analyze, and measure the overall effectiveness for bank operations and quality process controls in accordance with established policies & procedures. Audit and Quality reports are prepared to document the effectiveness against regulatory compliance or bank policies and procedures.

 



Summary of Essential Job Functions

 

  • Quality review and monitor transactions/reports/control logs to ensure business units follow bank policy and procedures.
  • Validates phone and transaction monitoring for various business units
  • Prepares Quality reports to management and business directors.
  • Participates in User Acceptance Testing
  • Gathers and analyze data as necessary to accomplish audit and quality objectives in a timely manner.
  • Conducts comprehensive Compliance and Operational Business Audits in accordance with regulatory guidelines and policies.
  • Performs audit tests, applying professional judgment, considering control objectives and risks.
  • Must be able to understand and conclude testing results performed as it relates to Department Policies and Procedures and or Compliance regulations.
  • Prepares and organizes work papers that fully document testing performed, discussions, conclusions and findings.
  • Performs audit follow-up as required, performing testing validation to ensure effectiveness of corrective actions have been taken in response to audit.
  • Prepares and presents written audit report to senior management that defines scope and objectives while supporting findings and conclusions.
  • Supports VP/AVP and external auditors by coordinating information requests
  • Demonstrates a professional rapport with organizational business contacts.

Job Requirements



Position Requirements

 

  • Possess a 4 year degree in Business Administration and 2 years of Audit experience.
  • Must have Compliance background knowledge with Federal Regulations, preferably in the Credit Card compliance field.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of interacting with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • Must be problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
  • Must be self-starter having ability to make sound business decisions with minimal direction.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Works independently with minimal direction.
  • Develop and foster working relationships.
  • Must be familiar with basic auditing principals.
  • Knowledge of Credit Card operations is a plus.
