Job Description



Position Summary

Develop strategy and execute conversion optimization program to improve digital marketing efficiencies and eliminate user experience obstacles by leveraging A/B and multivariate testing, digital analytics and customer experience management tools and techniques. This position reports to the AVP of Digital Marketing.

 

 Summary of Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Improve conversion rates on Credit One digital properties by working with cross functional partners to translate insights about users and customer segments into a compelling web / mobile / app user experience.
  • Delivery persuasive, customer-centric design solutions—that will be validated and optimized through vigorous testing—to enhance the digital customer experience and provide greater value to Credit One’s card prospective applicants and card members.
  • Develop front-end code variations for A/B testing using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  • Determine relevant metrics, establish goals, and create appropriate reporting to track and analyze the performance of customer experience and A/B testing programs.
  • Provide testing expertise across the organization to manage and optimize customer experience testing efforts on an assignment basis.
  • Execute other digital marketing campaigns and supporting programs as needed.


 

Job Requirements



Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the technical skills described below and a strong desire to work on conversion optimization, design, A/B split tests, and web analytics to take their efforts to the next level.

  • A bachelor's degree in area of specialty is preferred and at least 2 years of experience in a related digital marketing, web development, user experience or product management area is required.
  • Strong understanding of conversion / persuasion best practices and the ability to apply that knowledge.
  • Experience and/or a desire to learn online testing and tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, Monetate or SiteSpect.
  • Front end web design and development experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript coding. Strong understanding cross-browser and front-end development issues, as well as mobile-first responsive design of web pages.
  • Experience conducting analysis using web analytical tools like Adobe/Omniture, WebTrends, IBM/Coremetrics, Google Analytics or other similar tools is preferred.
